    -Start in Uptime : Begin with heightened external awareness, focusing on surroundings and sensory input .
    -Shift Attention : Gradually guide the focus from external(uptime) to internal(downtime) awareness.
    -Progressive Relaxation: Deep breathing , soothing imagery, calm speech to prompt- relaxation .
    -Enter Downtime: Move the client into a deeply relaxed , inwardly focused state .
    -Deep trance: Use suggestions or imagery deep trance state.
