Metaphor is a powerful tool in hypnotherapy .Engaging experiences that resonate deeply with the clients subconscious mind . Keep your tone low, soothing and calm to create a deep connection. few metaphors I learned are below
1- As you are in your favourite activity imagine your self as a flowing river . The water is clear , cool and smooth , moving very calmly. Each movement you make in this activity is like the flow of this river , calm, steady and peaceful .
2- Imagine yourself nestled in your favourite reading book, gently opening it . As you turn each page, the words seem to glow softly , drawing you deeper in a world of calmness and tranquillity. Each sentence wraps you in warmth, wrap around you like a warm blanket , easing away every single thing bothering you and filing you with a deep sense of ease .
3- Imagine yourself handling a sketch book . As you began to doodle , your pen create a soft , flowing lines and curves. Each stroke feel natural and soothing , as your hand is guided by a calming rhyme . every swirl and pattern start to weave together. As patterns unfolds , they draw you further into peaceful world , where every line you create melts away stress and invite profound sense of relaxation and calm.
