Review Psychologist
Myself Sania Shahzad, currently pursuing a degree of bachelors in Applied Psychology at Air University. I have completed my fifth Semester.
Registration Coordinator
I am deeply passionate about exploring the field of psychology and contributing to mental health awareness. As an internee, I aim to apply my skills and knowledge to help individuals navigate mental health challenges and promote psychological well-being. My focus is on understanding human behavior, applying therapeutic techniques, and fostering adaptive functioning in diverse populations. Inspired by the works of renowned psychologists, I am committed to utilizing evidence-based practices to make a meaningful impact in the field of mental health.
Intern of Clinical Psychology
My journey in clinical psychology began at the Capital Development Authority (CDA), where I honed my skills in interacting with diverse populations and addressing mental health challenges. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in psychological assessments, diagnosis, and psychotherapy. I primarily worked with adult and older adult clients, as well as some cases involving children. Additionally side by side I was an internee at Islamabad Psychological Centre, where I worked under the supervision of Sir Rameez Ahmed. These experiences allowed me to apply psychological theories and therapeutic techniques in real-world settings, enhancing my understanding of the complexities of mental health.
Certifications and Specialized Skills
To strengthen my expertise, I have earned certifications in various areas of psychology, including:
– Dream Analysis and Interpretation: Understanding unconscious processes and emotional conflicts.
– Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Learning to foster psychological flexibility and mindfulness.
– Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Addressing depression and insomnia without medication through structured interventions.
– Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): Understanding behavioral patterns and implementing therapeutic strategies for behavioral adjustment.
– Substance Abuse: Completing a 20-hour course by the International Society of Substance Use Professionals.
– Therapist Guide to Body Language: 4-hour Online workshop led by Sir. Owais Iqbal himself regarding the client’s body language that can be applied in daily life as well.
– Insomnia Treatment Without Medications: Certification in non-medication approaches to managing and treating insomnia effectively.
– IBM SPSS Statistics: Developing strong analytical and statistical skills essential for research.
– Graphology: Analyzing handwriting and signatures to gain insights into personality traits.

I am a proud member of the American Psychological Association (APA), International Society of Substance Abuse Professionals (ISSUP) and the Australian New Zealand Mental Health Association (ANZMH), which continually enrich my professional development and connect me to a global network of mental health professionals.
