My Academic Journey

I hold a Master’s degree in Health Psychology from The University of the Punjab, where I excelled in my field and deepened my understanding of health-related psychological principles. Prior to this, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from the esteemed Institute of Applied Psychology at the University of the Punjab, Lahore. These academic experiences have been instrumental in shaping me into a compassionate and informed professional, equipping me with the knowledge and skills necessary to make significant contributions to the field of psychology.

My Professional Experience

With a comprehensive background in psychology, I bring a rich tapestry of experience spanning clinical practice, forensic psychology, health psychology, and academia. With two years of placement experience including a year in health settings where I specialized in assessing and managing treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic illnesses and my forensic expertise encompasses a year of conducting psychological assessments and diagnosing offenders within legal settings. Additionally, I completed a three-month internship in a private clinic, honing my skills in treating patients with drug abuse, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, OCD, and personality disorders. As a Research Associate at the University of Lahore, I have a year of experience in teaching and research, inspiring the next generation of psychology professionals through knowledge sharing and active involvement in research initiatives.

My Current Role

Currently, I am employed with The University of Lahore’s Lahore School of Behavioural Sciences as a research associate in the field of psychology. My goal is to cultivate an encouraging classroom setting that encourages students to think critically, grow as individuals, and excel academically.

My Areas of Expertise

The fields of forensic psychology, health psychology, and academia or research are all within my competency. As a forensic psychologist, I have extensive knowledge of diagnostic and treatment procedures, as well as forensic assessment tools and evidence-based approaches. I have extensive experience in health psychology working with individuals who are dealing with mental as well as physical health problems, whether they are at acute or chronic level. Furthermore, I will make it a priority to keep up with the most recent research in my field and use it to inform my teaching methods. My commitment to lifelong learning allows me to keep my expertise current and relevant in my field. Continuing my path in psychology fulfils my deepest desire to make a good difference in the lives of my clients, students, and the community at large.
