    Induction of Deep Trance:
    A profoundly relaxed hypnotic state is guided for the client, frequently with the use of relaxing methods like progressive relaxation, visual imagery, or breathing exercises.
    Recalling Memories:
    In order to retrieve memories, the therapist helps the client mentally travel back in time to a particular prior age, usually childhood or adolescence. Either explicit recommendations or visual clues can do this.
    Reliving the Past:
    Instead of merely recalling, the client frequently “relives” the feelings, experiences, and perceptions from that earlier era, giving them the impression that they are once again there.
    Psychological Catharsis:
    Age regression can assist a client express, and process suppressed feelings or unresolved trauma from the past by facilitating emotional release.
