Staircase induction is a hypnotic induction technique that gained popularity in the mid- to late twentieth century. We help clients achieve the ideal state of awareness by using guided imagery or visualization of a staircase as they picture traveling down or up it. In this technique, descending the staircase represents a greater journey into the subconscious, and climbing the staircase represents awareness or mental clarity. To improve the visuals or for a more engaging client experience, the following staircase details are used:
    • Color: White or Brown.
    • Sounds: creaking or thudding footsteps.

    • Texture or form (e.g., wooden, marble, metal).

    • Lighting (dim yellow light)

    • Handrail temperature: warm or cold.

    • Environment: Garden, Beach, Mansion.
