    Note: the bold words should be emphasized while speaking
    Therapist: I would like to get to know your hobbies or activities you might do in your free time to feel relaxed and at ease
    Client: Ummm I think I love doing skincare, riding horses, reading books.
    Therapist: Okay so out of these activities except for the horse riding which activity makes you
    feel the most relaxed and fresh
    Client: I think book reading I love how at calm I feel while reading the books and I also love the rusty smell from the pages of the books.
    Therapist :Oh that’s great, I love books too so today we are going to use your favorite activity to take you to a deepened state of relaxation you will discover that focusing on something you love can naturally make you feel relaxed. Also this is a natural and safe process, at any point you feel uncomfortable and want to stop you can open your eyes and return to conscious state. Are you ready?
    Client: Sounds Amazing! Let’s do it

    Therapist: (in a soothing tone) I want you to make yourself comfortable. Mhmm very good. Rest your back giving it some support in a comfortable position. Very good! Now we will do deep breathing together, follow me as I do these steps.
    Take a deep breath in…. Inhaling all the positive hold it for a few seconds and now slowly exhale out all the negatives. As you continue this process try to relax each and every muscle of your body.
    You’re doing very great! Inhale…. Mhmmm……
    (in a calm tone) Let go of any stress you may be holding on to, Allow yourself to feel your muscles relaxing with each breath.
    Now I would like you to imagine you’re standing in a beautiful field full of colorful flowers…. (Pause) The flowers are gently moving in the wind, making you feel peaceful.(in a very soothing voice) As you stand there, you look up at the sky…. (Small Pause) the soft light from the sun peeks through the clouds… touching your face, making you feel even more relaxed and comfortable.
    You take a deep breath, filling your lungs with the fresh air around you. You feel relaxation spreading through your whole body, from your head to your toes. Your body feels light, (small pause) almost like the wind could carry you away.
    You start walking through the field, feeling the soft grass under your feet…. The tickling sensation of the grass makes you feel lighter and lighter (in a calm soothing tone) and more relaxed. With each step, you feel yourself getting more and more relaxed.
    As you walk and explore the field, you might notice a staircase nearby. Do you see it?
    Client: yes

    Great. Now, slowly walk towards the staircase, leaving all your worries behind. As you get closer, your body feels even more relaxed, every muscle letting go of any tension, and your body feels light and comfortable.
    Now you’re at the staircase feel how beautiful it is flowers growing around each step, leaves covering the hand rail of the stair case, the sight of the beautiful staircase makes you feel more and more peaceful, you want to increase this state of peace and relaxation by stepping on the staircase, there are 10 steps in this staircase and when you are ready we will go down this beautiful staircase
    Are you ready? Client: Yes
    As I count from 1 to 10, you’ll step down the stairs. With each step, you’ll feel even more relaxed and at ease.
    1, you’re feeling relaxed. 2, even more relaxed.

    5, deeper relaxation.
    6. touch the railing of the staircase covered with leaves, you hold it for better support as you slowly grip it you can feel the cold leaves beneath your hand making you feel more relaxed more comfortable
    7. 8.
    9, very comfortable and relaxed.
    10, you’re now in a deep state of relaxation, feeling very calm and comfortable.

    As you reach the bottom, it feels like you’re standing in a room. Look around it might be a room full of books, like a library…. (Pause) The smell of the old books makes you feel fresh and even more relaxed. This is your favorite place. As you explore the room, you can hear the floor creak softly with each step.
    You notice a comfy couch in the middle of the room. It looks very inviting, like the perfect place to sit and read your favorite book. But first, you need to find that book.
    You walk over to the shelves, feeling even more relaxed with each step. You pick up books, one by one, reading their titles and feeling their covers. Suddenly, you see a book shining from a distance. It looks like the one you’ve been wanting to read. You slowly walk towards it, your breathing slowing down… (Lowering your voice gradually) feeling more and more relaxed with each step.
    You’ve now reached the book. It’s beautiful, just what you wanted. You feel happy and relaxed, that you found it.
    You pick it up and move towards the couch in the middle of the room….. Each step making you feel more relaxed and more comfortable, as you sit down, the couch supports you, making you feel even more relaxed and comfortable. Your body feels light, with no tension left anywhere.
    Now, as you open the book, the scent of the pages makes you feel even more relaxed. You breathe it in, feeling calm and at ease. The smooth texture of the book under your fingers relaxes you even more. As you start to read, each word makes you feel more peaceful and comfortable. The story pulls you in, and you feel deeply relaxed, calm, and content. The words from the book might be speaking to you, listen to them, try to focus on them and feel the peace and comfort.
    (Therapeutic suggestions can be given here.)
    When you’re ready, we’ll return to where we started, bringing back all the peace and comfort with us. Are you ready? Slowly get up from the couch and walk back towards the staircase, feeling completely relaxed and comfortable.
    Now, as I count from 10 to 1, you’ll take each step up the stairs, feeling more relaxed. 10.

    7, you’re doing great. Keep feeling more relaxed.

    3, bring back all the peace and comfort with you.
    2, remember how comfortable you felt sitting on that couch, reading your favorite book.

    Now you’re at the top of the stairs, feeling fresh and comfortable. Walk back into the field, as you walk slowly towards the field you feel the wind on your face, making you feel more relaxed…. (pause) You can smell the flowers and hear the birds singing, which makes you feel even more peaceful.
    As you walk through the field, feel the grass under your feet, making you feel very relaxed very comfortable now, you’re back in the middle of the field. Take a look around, feel the peace, and when I count from 1 to 3, slowly open your eyes, bringing all the peace and comfort back with you.
    Start by feeling your breaths, nice and slow.
    1, coming back to awareness. 2. 3, slowly open your eyes. Very good.
    Changes can be made accordingly.
