Hypnosis linked with netflix series freud:
Freud was on his way to become viena most renowned hypnotist but there were obstacles in his way as general believe related to hysteria was that its a biological disability linked with physiological imbalance of brain but he was eager to prove it as a demonstration of unconscious conflicts. In order to prove his ideas right he used practice hypnosis on his maid daily and was practicing a fake scenerio in which she was the one suffering with the grief of his daughter as a result she lost her voice. Actually his maid was totally functional and she never had a daughter.

When he demonstrated hypnosis infront of medical squad so his main aim was to prove that his ideas as right via false act but as he applied mechanism of eye fixation and enabled her to focus at the pendulem , and made her to enter into state of altered attention and high suggestibilty. Freud was aiming to make her act but she actually entered the state of trance where she was able to see her daughter roaming in the streets of Viena. And freud suggestion made her to shout at her daughter who was about to get hit by the horse carriage. This scene proved that while practicing with her freud used to use a pendulum an eye induction technique, where she was made to focus at the sound , colour and general representation of pendulum so every time they practiced freud induced certain false memories into her unconscious via direct suggestions but by actully taking into state of transe.
Script was as :
You can only listen to my voice and sound of pendulem , you can only see the pendulem everything else disappears. It was 8th of january when you lost your voice after the death of your daughter. it was an accident and you were there , now let me take you back to that place.

As a result she was able to visualise herself at that place and her eyes were still during the process , reduce amount of blinking was being observed.
