Arm Levitation Induction is a therapeutic technique of hypnosis that is used to induce trance into a patient/client. It includes some specific guidelines and steps which makes a person to relax and focus their attention on their arm being light weighted and then suggest to levitate it on its own. The basic goal of this technique is to maintain a dissociative state, where the person’s conscious mind is distracted and relaxed while their subconscious mind becomes more receptive to suggestions.

This process includes a proper introduction and script to manage a good trance to be induced. It is important for the therapist to be focused and clear with his words so there is no interruption in the whole process where the suggestions can be given properly.
