Been working in the field for 4 years now and when i was new i was so with the bookish rules and fundaments, i should do this i shouldn’t be saying that… and so on but as time passes i begin to understand that you just need to be good at some basic things which are the most Humanly possible things if we focus. Which is Compassion, empathy and being kind. what else would you need but of course there comes some other obligations while practicing in a field so yes there has to be some other good qualities as well such as good listening, highly observant, be good in keeping secrets means respect the confidentiality. SO for my understanding this is what Good psychologists is.
