    Therapist should have different essentials as demonstrated by different schools of thought of psychology. Psychoanalyst is belived to have active listening, skill to form association of conscious and unconscious facts, to analyze affects , dreams and thought contents for defining the root cause similarly for those implementing rogerian principles are predicted to have congruence,transparency and unconditional positive regards. Gestalt Therapy has key ingredients of interpretation of verbal, nonverbal gestures and unfinished businesses thus a therapist should be able to focus on here and now , helping patient at self awareness,and at understanding perceptions. So by keeping these all concepts in mind we can eleborate that a therapist should have good listening skills , self awareness, empathy , compasion and genuineness. These fundamentals are helpful at buiding trust , reciprocity and insight building.
    Empathy is significant at understanding patient’s perspective and emotions and taking an action for a support.
    Some techniques include:
    Active listening, validation of statements

    Compasion is defined a response which can helpful for a patient to manage their sufferings , to find the meaning and to show the care thus some fruitful techniques include: showing kindness , offering reassurance and finally taking an action. It is fundamental at building up a secure thereupatic bond.
    The main pinhole for a therapists is an active listening. It involves the honest interpretation of nonveral and verbal signals and reflecting back. Therapist can summarise, paraphrase and reflect back inorder to showcase this skill. It is important at validation , clarification , trust building and to enhance skills such as problem solving.
    However there may be barriers of internal and external distractions thus a therapist should have sound coping foundations for management of these core components.
    A non judgmental attitude,open mindedness and curiosity to learn more can promote therapeutic proficiency.
    Therapist should be able to follow, maintain and reinforce certain standards such as boundary setting,
    patience, and cross cultural acceptance.
    Emotional intelligence should be highlighted as an essential aswell.
